Limerick Laughs 🤣
Let's tickle your funny bone with limericks!
Limericks are short, silly poems with a specific rhyme and rhythm pattern. They're a fun way to play with words and tell a quick, humorous story.
The Limerick Formula:
5 lines total
Lines 1, 2, and 5 rhyme
Lines 3 and 4 rhyme
AABBA rhyme scheme
Here's an example:
There once was a chef named Lou,
Who made a delicious stew.
But he sneezed and it flew,
Right into his shoe,
And now he's wearing stew, it's true!

Dancing Raisins Experiment 🍇🕺
You'll need:
A clear glass
Fizzy lemonade or soda water
A handful of raisins
Instructions:
Fill the glass with the fizzy drink.
Drop the raisins into the glass.
Observe what happens!
What's happening?
The raisins will start to dance up and down in the glass! This is because the carbon dioxide bubbles in the fizzy drink attach themselves to the raisins, making them float. When the bubbles reach the surface, they burst, and the raisins sink back down.
Extra Challenge:
Try different types of fizzy drinks (cola, sparkling water, etc.) and see if the raisins dance differently.
Experiment with other small objects (like dried cranberries or popcorn kernels) to see if they dance too.
Share your results and observations with us on social media!
