Shape Shifters! ๐Ÿ“

Introduction: Get ready to become shape shifters as we explore the fascinating world of 2D shapes!

Materials: Paper, pencils, ruler, scissors, coloured paper (optional).

Activities:

  1. Shape Hunt: Go on a shape hunt around your house or outside. How many different 2D shapes can you find? (circles, squares, triangles, rectangles, pentagons, hexagons, etc.) Draw or take pictures of the shapes you find. ๐Ÿ”

  2. Shape Sorting: Cut out different shapes from coloured paper or draw them on paper. Can you sort them into groups based on their properties? (number of sides, right angles, etc.) โœ‚๏ธ

  3. Shape Creations: Use your shapes to create pictures or designs. You can make animals, houses, or even abstract art! Let your imagination run wild. ๐ŸŽจ

  4. Shape Riddles: Create riddles about different shapes. For example: "I have three sides and three angles. What am I?" (A triangle!) ๐Ÿค”

Helpful Tip: Remember the names of different shapes and their properties. This will help you understand geometry better.
