Storytelling with a Twist! π
Introduction: Let's put a spin on traditional storytelling and explore different narrative perspectives!
Materials: Paper, pencils, your imagination!
Activities:
Classic Tales: Choose a classic fairy tale or folk tale (e.g., "Cinderella," "The Three Little Pigs," "Goldilocks and the Three Bears"). Read the story together and discuss the main events and characters. π
Perspective Shift: Now, retell the story from a different character's perspective. How would the story change if it were told by the wolf in "The Three Little Pigs" or by Cinderella's stepmother? π€
Voice and Tone: Experiment with different voices and tones. How would the story sound if it were told by a grumpy giant or a mischievous fairy? π£οΈ
Creative Writing: Write your own version of the story from your chosen perspective. How does changing the perspective affect the story's message and meaning? βοΈ
Helpful Tip: Exploring different perspectives helps us develop empathy and understand different points of view.
